I began my career writing short stories for romance magazines. Having many short stories published gave me confidence in my ability and taught me so much about the art of creating fiction. But writing a novel was always my dream.  

In 1996, my first novel Nightfall was published. It was a lifelong dream come true: getting a phone call from an editor who offered a two-book contract, setting eyes on my novel on bookstore shelves, and receiving the news that my book sold out and went into reprint. Since that time, I’ve become an award-winning and best-selling author who has written thirteen novels. Several new books are scheduled for publication in 2011. I’ve won screenwriting contests. I’m working on film projects. I've launched my own company Satin Doll Publishing. My storytelling also inspired me to write songs for my debut music CD “Dreams Do Come True”. I’m grateful for the opportunity to entertain with my novels and expand my storytelling to other forms of entertainment.
